Since 1996 WQSi has been a full service environmental remediation company. We offer comprehensive environmental remediation services nationally to the public, private, and federal sectors. We have a third party reviewed health and safety program, and our crews have exhaustive training including OSHA1910.120 HAZWOPER, Confined Space, Rad Worker 2, OSHA 30 and OSHA 10.

HAZARDOUS/NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE REMOVAL

Whether the hazardous waste you want removed has ignitability, corrosivity, reactivity or toxicity, WQSi has the tools training and experience to remove it properly then ship it to the proper disposal facility.

RADIOACTIVE EXTRACTION AND DECONTAMINATION

We have successfully performed extraction and decontamination projects for the Department of Energy (DOE) facilities at Miamisburg Mound (radiological, hazardous, mixed waste, PCBs, and Chlorinated Solvents) and Weldon Springs (radiological waste). Some of our recent projects include Ironton Iron and Metals (25 acre factory riddled with PCBs, Chlorinated Solvents, Lead, and Asbestos) and the Hamilton Aeronca Factory (10 acre factory with PCB, Chlorinated Solvents, Lead, Asbestos, and Universal Waste). Other extraction and decontamination activities include the sampling, cleaning, and repairing of all the Oil Water Separators at Wright Patterson AFB for the past 15 years.

Specific for the radiation and heavy metals removal, we are an applicator for DeconGel. DeconGel is extremely versatile and removes fixed contamination from virtually any surface such as concrete, steel, painted or unpainted wood, aluminum, Plexiglas, tile and grout, linoleum and much more

STORAGE TANK REMOVAL

WQSi has significant experience with the closure of underground storage tank (UST) systems and aboveground bulk plants. We have managed the installation of new storage tank systems in the private, public and federal sectors and we self perform the work with our own equipment and operators.
